★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 桃園是「千塘之鄉」，龍潭陂是其中最出名的一口陂塘，為先民開墾的重要灌溉水源。清光緒元年，客家籍先民合資興建「聖蹟亭」，以示「重道崇文」，歷經兩次重修，保留迄今為台灣建築最宏偉、形制最講究的聖蹟亭，且石雕精美，具有很高的藝術價值。
 Taoyuan is the hometown of Qiantang. Longtan is one of the most famous ponds, which is an important source of irrigation for the ancestors. In the first year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing dynasty, the Hakka ancestors jointly established the "Holy Pavilion" to show "heavy Tao Chongwen". After two re-constructions, it preserved the most magnificent and most elaborate sacred pavilion in Taiwan, and the stone carving is exquisite. High artistic value.

建於清末，昭和年間曾經重建，原為焚紙爐，目前已停止使用。聖蹟亭是客家人耕讀文化的典型代表，客家人習慣在村落邊緣建造聖蹟亭，同樣情況還可以在桃園龍潭、屏東佳冬看到。本聖蹟亭建築風格與清代所建之聖蹟亭迥異，具日本時代建築特色。
Historic Buildings
Built in the late Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt during the Showa era. It was originally a paper-burning furnace and has been discontinued. The holy pavilion is a typical representative of the Hakka people's farming culture. The Hakka people are used to building the holy pavilion on the edge of the village. The same situation can be seen in Taoyuan Longtan and Pingtung Jiadong. The architectural style of this holy pavilion is different from that of the sacred pavilion built in the Qing Dynasty.

傳統習俗，寫過文字的紙張，不能隨意丟棄或踐踏，須送到聖蹟亭來焚燒，這是先民對文字及知識的一種敬重態度。
