1.校園内存有臺北天文臺贈送的三用日晷。
2.具有甲子年歷史學校。
School history: 1937 Showa Branch School of Keelung Public School, 1939 Showa Public School, 1941 Showa National School, 1950 Zhongshan District First National School, 1952 Zhongshan National School, 1968 Zhongshan National Primary School. (Huzaishan Campus is now Hong Kong West Elementary School 1953)
School scene features:
1. The campus has a three-day sundial presented by the Taipei Observatory.
2. A school with a history of Jiazi years.
