On the summit is a statue of 蔣介石 who use to be a warlord in China and a dictator in Taiwan.
It's bizarre the statue is still there lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice trail. It can be a very easy outing by walking from Bishan Temple to the top of Zhongyong. Lots of steps but it's only a matter of 15-20 minutes. There is a large statue of Chiang Kai Shek at the top. But the trail can be followed further, in particular, the walk from Bishan temple to Jiantan Station (or opposite direction) is one of the sections of the Taipei Grand Hike which is approximately 13 km. There are many signs along the route so you don't get lost.
