★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s okay for passing by, just for a quick look of the exhibition of “walker” (行者） and modern public buildings.it takes around 30-40 minutes. Not bad for break and stay refreshing cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The architecture of the building inside and outside is very innovative and interesting. But don't look for sand dunes here. They were "greenify" by vegetation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zhuangwei Dune Visitor Center is a good place to visit if you are into architecture. Designed by the renowned architect, Huang Sheng-Yuan, the building itself merges into the nature around it. It looks as if it was modelled after a sand dune, and the inside of the building has bumps and curves, and is smoothed over just as if the wind had eroded it through time. Visitors can also walk around the top of the building and explore the scenery from up there. You can spot Turtle Island off in the distance, as well as the nearby ecological park. Although not as convenient to reach without a car, this is a good place to put on your Yilan visit. When we visited there was a video art installation that featured a man dressed in monk's robes walking extremely slowly through different city and nature scene.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice architecture with well organized shop which sales the original trainees design, and the Tsai Ming-Liang- themed rooms played some of his movies, overall this place is modern and artful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Close to the ocean. Is a very nice place to see turtle island. There is some outdoor at to view. There is a delicious bakery and coffee shop. There is indoor art and a nice bathroom. It can be quite crowded but if the parking lot isn't full then it's a great place to visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The conceptual arts preserved inside is interesting. The architecture is great. The presentations were abstract. Had a different experience altogether. Spacious place outside for kids to play. Enough place for vehicles parking.
