★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sacred and tranquil, it's a big temple at the corner of the town. Accessible by bus "1210" (directly from Taipei Main Station). The main deity is the goddess of mercy (Kuanyin) accompanied with other deities adjacent in the main altar. The carvings are overwhelmingly intricate and neat that would made us pause to appreciate the art. Oftenly, locals come to offer prayers, including the younger generations and is usually packed during chinese festivals.

With public transport accessibility and many free parking of the temple.
Good to visit in every February and March for Sakura season.
The nearby park and local Dapaidong are nice.
Well maintained and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend recommended this place to worship Guanyin, also known as mother of mercy. Took us 30 minutes there from Shilin. Upon arrival, you can see this place was magnificent even from afar. Nestled right opposite a garden, many visitors arrived early. If you arrive before 9am, you can get access to free parking right beside the temple. The temple system is very organized with groups of 20 each time allowed to enter to maintain the social distancing. The architecture was really beautiful. What a wonderful place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place where people have a peaceful atmosphere and make them comfortable and tranquil! Especially,when people have some struggles or confusion, they have to forward to the temple to give them something reasonable and rational ,most importantly, people also enjoy the space -the beautiful garden, where people would enjoy the wonderful view and different kinds of fun things! Therefore, it’s worth visiting and giving you a wonderful time!
