★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一個我很想去DIY學習的所在。園主很用心經營，而且是蛇窯窯燒溫度的金氏世界紀錄保持人。自有此地的靈氣所在。可以去走走並DIY一下，才不枉此行。DIY要先電話聯繫安排。
A place where I would love to go to DIY learning. The owner of the garden is very careful, and is the Guinness world record holder for the kiln firing temperature of the snake kiln. It has its own aura here. You can go for a walk and DIY it, it's not worth the trip. DIY has to make arrangements by phone first.

It’s not bad. It’s only open for one day a month. It’s a little bit every day of the month. It’s not a bit when I went to the site and found it was cold. But I don’t know what the highlight is! My friend showed me a firewood~~~ (I don’t think it’s too much~ haha) it’s in general metallic color. He doesn’t have it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 竹南蛇窯創建於民國61年，原名恆發陶瓷廠，以生產花盆為主，70年代轉型為民俗工藝陶創作，民國83年台灣省桃藝協會在此舉辦，重燃古窯柴燒活動，自此更名為"竹南蛇窯"，多年來致力於柴燒陶藝創作，陶瓷文化研究。每月1號為開放日，免預約，其餘時間採預約制，需提前預約。有收入園費。
Zhunan Snake Kiln was founded in 1961. It was formerly known as Hengfa Ceramics Factory. It mainly produced flower pots. In the 1970s, it was transformed into folk craft pottery creation. The activity has since changed its name to "Zhunan Snake Kiln", and has devoted itself to the creation of wood-fired pottery art and the research of ceramic culture for many years. The 1st of each month is an open day, no appointment is required, and the rest of the time is based on an appointment system, which needs to be reserved in advance. There is an income garden fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 在2022年元旦參觀，剛好是竹南蛇窯50週年慶，現場有很多活動，很熱鬧。第一次參觀竹南蛇窯，被在地的傳統文化深深吸引。陶瓷品在窯裡面擺放的位置、受熱面積和溫度等因素影響下，呈現出不同的花色和紋路，使得每件作品都是獨一無二的，好喜歡。他們還會收集不同地方的泥土，紀錄製作出來的效果的差異。小學雖在工藝課有玩過並製作自己的窯燒作品，但都沒有現場看過柴燒。真心建議小學應該要安排戶外教學！
Visiting on New Year's Day in 2022 coincides with the 50th anniversary of Zhunan Snake Kiln. There are many activities on site, which are very lively. It was the first time I visited the Zhunan Snake Kiln, and I was deeply attracted by the local traditional culture. Under the influence of factors such as the position of the kiln, the heating area and the temperature, the ceramic products show different colors and textures, making each piece unique and I like it very much. They will also collect soil from different places and record the differences in the effect produced. Although elementary schools have played and made their own kiln-fired works in craft classes, they have never seen firewood on the spot. I sincerely suggest that primary schools should arrange outdoor teaching!
