K	Kuo Kevin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 第2月台設計真是超爛！下雨時雨水直直落下，新竹常有風，即便是微風，雨水總是會由隔音牆所在的高處，還留下很大的鏤空區飄進月台，造成整片地面濕滑，甚至飄下到一樓，連手扶梯都是水而不得已停用。不要說月台上候車椅子全濕，飄雨時侯車的人根本也沒地方可躲，上下車乘客因地面濕滑更是危險！不能在既有雨遮的另一面向外延伸嗎？或在直立隔音牆上再加延伸擋雨嗎？ The design of the second platform is really bad! When it is raining, there is no place to hide. Passengers getting on and off the train are even more dangerous because the ground is slippery! Can't it extend outward on the other side of the existing rain cover? Or add an extension to the vertical soundproof wall to keep out the rain?

G	György Adler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are not many direct trains to/from Hsinchu and Neiwan, so you are likely to need to transfer here. Some buses are also available to downtown Hsinchu and Hsinchu Fisherman's Wharf. There is absolutely nothing nearby, but there is a Hi-Life a few steps away. There are surprisingly clean toilets before / after entering / exiting the station. AC plugs were out of order during the time of my visit.
