★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They give 8 xiaolongbao per steamer (NT$70). There's also youtiao (Chinese fried doughnut sticks), loh bak goh (steamed radish cake), and man tau in plain, chocolate, and taro flavors. My vegetarian friend ordered a sticky rice dish that was pretty filling. Not the best food but I have come back several times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disgrace. The food tastes like it was made weeks ago and has just been sitting around. Even the soy milk here is bad. The restaurant is open 24/7, and I suspect this is why the food is so bad. Cooking surfaces as well as the restaurant are rarely cleaned, and this definitely shows in the food here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic old style soy soup & donut stick joint. Gritty, greasy, & delicious. If you want to experience traditional Taipei breakfast in old Taiwan ambiance, this is the place. If you want foo-foo modern sterile boring, stay away. The salty soymilk, friend donut stick & siow-bin is awesome. Ate here almost every day during two week visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place seems like it is open for 24 hours and they sell many Taiwanese small smacks and breakfast. Not the cleanest of places and we saw some roaches both small and big walking around the place. The food is very cheap and has many choices. Given that it is a family-owned restaurant, it seems like there is no credit card option so we only paid through cash.
