Nice pepper "cakes". It's like a meat bun but with crunchier outside layer. The meat is juicy and the pepper taste is quite strong. Nice to eat on cold weather. It takes a bit of time from them to prep and cook, and therefore it can be a queue at the start. I noticed towards later at night that there's no queue and the buns are ready waiting.

Came try 2018 Michelin bib goumand menu. This bun is quite good, the crispiness of the bun with juicy pork and scallion (蔥) inside goes together quite well. One bun is only $nt50. There is other branch located in Raohe night market, but that place is too crowded!

You must eat the pepper cake in this shop in the morning, 11am. The staff make them in front of you so they are fresh! Full of hot sauce inside the cake. It's really really hot! Be careful! The meat is super large. I strongly advise the tourist must go to have a trial! However, there are a lot of people to line up so you have to go there before 11am for queuing.

Golden beefcakes cooked in a charcoal clay oven, crispy outside and packs a peppery punch on the inside, filled with succulent beef. A perfect snack on the go and even better on a chilly day.

Fuzhou Pepper Buns (pork pepper buns) Piping hot buns! Hot pepper buns baked in a tandoor oven, the filling is delicious and has an intense pepper and green onion flavour. Love the smell of fresh pastry, be careful it has hot juices in it. Lines get pretty long but it goes by pretty quick! Price: 55 NT for a bun (so get two just incase you like it) #FuzhouPepperBuns (pork pepper buns) #福州世祖胡椒饼 @asianfoodninja #asianfoodninja

This is a good version of the "pepper cakes" freshly made and freshly baked right out of a tiny oven. The outside was crunchy and had a nice roasted colour. The meat was more juicy than others I've had. The price is on the high side, but expected, considering its corner location in the city center. There is almost always a small group of foodies waiting...

Pepper buns each 55$ each, we bought 2 for 110$. Really good to have on a cold day. We were really luck to have gotten there when a fresh batch came out. Super hot! Eat with caution, the juice from inside will burn your lips ?. Amazing taste. This is a must try.

If you haven't tried a pepper bun from the night market, grab one (or two, or three, or more) from here! These are always fresh and piping hot. It's easy to order here--there's only pepper buns! The only question you have to answer is, "How many?" ☺️ The line moves quickly even if it's busy, so don't worry. There's a lot of pepper flavor in these. The filling is super flavorful and delicious! Be careful when eating these, though. The filling will be very hot! I'll probably come back every day to get (at least) one. ? Pepper buns are $55 TWD each.
