Before coming to Taipei, my girlfriend and I were thinking to pick up some gifts (with great intrinsic and extrinsic value ) for friends and family; so we did some researches via yelp, google, trip advisor...and other traveling blogs / platform you name it, and apparently this shop is recognized as the hidden gem in taipei.
Direct quote: "decades of well reputation with master minded craftsmanship"
This is a family-business and all the masters in the shop are known as Su, they are professional, courteous and respectful. After the initial consultation, Su gave us really honest and straight forward advice on the gift combo.
After telling her that we did a moment to consider, Su smiled and nodded, then gave us the space that we needed. The sales was not pushy and we really appreciated it! (Unlike when we were in Zhou da fu in Hong Kong, the salesmen literally just pushing for sales)
At the end, we actually ordered more than what we intended to spend, but we believe the gifts worth every penny!
Definitely recommend this shop for anyone who is looking for quality goldware or gifts!
