★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally some real Southwest Chinese spicy level cuisine in Taipei! Not the only 川菜馆 here, but this is defintely one of the most reasonably priced. Portions also quite generous. Highly recommend if you are one who reminisces about your Chengdu and Chongqing days, or just enjoys 麻辣味.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Sichuan style cuisine! I love that the chili sauce is so spicy and numbing. The black sugar glutinous rice cake is so crispy. Highly recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Photos from left to right are: Koushuiji (chicken), Shuizhuyu (fish), Chongqing Xiaomian (noodle), Chongqing Suanla Mixian (hot and sour rice noodle).
Chongqing hot and sour noodles are famous Sichuan cuisine. The suanlafen is made of sweet potato starch and is very chewy (not shown in pictures below). The mixian is made of rice and is also chewy.
Chongqing xiaomian is made with a different kind of soup that is not sour.
The restaurant allows customers to choose how spicy they want their noodles to be, so it's your choice.
Ps. Most dishes contain peanuts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge size of noodles at bargain price! If you like spicy as I do ( Hot pepper), and happen to like eating traditional Chinese food, this is the place for you. Recommend hot and sour noodles with duck blood and tofu; black fungus, fish skin and spicy & cold chicken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular, specializing in Sichuan cusine, spicy and lots of oil and spices. Unfortunately, we were disappointed! The steamed spareribs didn't taste fresh, barely warm. The spicy chicken also, besides being soaked in spicy oil, the chicken pieces themselves lacked flavor. Our favorite ended up was the stir fried cabbage. Basically, everything was average!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to recommend this noodle shop ! If your are looking for the really traditional spicy dish , you must to visit here! Very delicious spicy noodle and I love the 養生菇米線 with little spicy and the 口水雞 also the NO.1 choice!
Near the 中山捷運 walk by 5 min! A lot of people , the place is not big enough for many customers so sometimes have to share the table with the stranger but still worthy for the dinner! Will come here again ! Really enjoy the tasteful food ?

Hospitable but the whole restaurant is not big, suitable for 2-3people.
