★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bitter tea was really bitter. A good place to troll your friends and introduce them to the culture of herbal tea in Taiwan. Besides bitter tea, there are also a lot of choices of drinks and desserts, so don't need to feel worried if you don't wanna experience the bitterness of herbal tea!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place. They have most authentic herbal tea, not your average herbal tea. It's more like the traditional medicinal type.
It also has been operated in the same location for far longer than 50 years.
I advocate that everyone should try here at least once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My childhood memory. The deserts here are good taste and healthy for body. If you come here during summer time, it is a good place to reduce your body temperature and get some energy to travel around the Taipei city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really love their traditional desserts~ taste light and refreshing, not too sweet, and collagen and vitamin rich from traditional toppings like sweet potato and lotus seeds and snow fungus ~ the bitter tea is also very unique, comparable to a more bitter Americano but with strong Chinese herbal flavors. Definitely a more old fashioned historical spot (opened about 100 years ago!) but definitely my style ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cup of black bitter tea from this place will make your inner body cool like a winter breeze. That herbal concoction made from various Chinese herb is pretty bitter but somehow very smooth and mellow to drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop opened since 1929, its been here for nearly a century. Famous for herbal tea and chinese dessert. I like their lotus seeds dessert. Can try 冰糖蓮子雪蛤膏, but better serve in hot.
