★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buffet restaurant, a bit of everything: fish, teriyaki chicken, braised cole, geese necks, some rolls (not sure the ingredients, but nommsy), tomato egg, dofu something, water spinach with garlic, sour something cabbage, and so on. Interesting bit, this place exists for a phenomenal amount of time, and since I ate here the first time in 2002 (a greenhorn to most things Asian) hasn't changed a single bit. A budget option for cheap, hearty noms ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice selections for take outs. The pork chop and cod were great. Vegetables are not as delicious. The famous 魯肉飯is rather so so. I missed the good old time in Old Taipei Round Circle 圓環☹️☹️☹️???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places in Taipei. I live close by, so I come at least 3 times per week. The quality of the food is great and very consistent. It's always packed with people but there's enough space to find a seat. You can also get take-out lunch boxes for less than 3 USD. Perfect place if you wanna sample lots of different authentic Taiwanese dishes at a low price and good quality. Just note that the buffet is not heated, so sometimes the food is not hot anymore. You can ask them to heat it up, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was delicious but not cheap through. Pork Briased rice was average. Veggies, fish and pork was very fresh. I recommend you can order dishes than rice. Lots of Japanese will visit there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local place that serves a huge range of cooked food dishes with braised pork rice as well as other choices of carbs.
Dishes are reasonably priced but higher than other places in Taipei. Quality of the ingredients is high and the cooking is superb.
The braised pork rice is delicious but I understand from my colleagues that they used to be more generous with the braised pork. Less fatty than most places, but still a delicious bowl of pork, pork fat and rice.
