A space full of Japanese utensils and antiques, the store itself is a work of art, and every detail can be seen attentively and with love like a craftsman.

⭕️ The owner who loves Japanese pottery and tea bowls is almost always open all year round, only 2 or 3 days off during the New Year. If there are damaged items that need to be repaired, you can come to Wenshi, and get started at one time. But because it needs to be applied layer by layer, it will take about a month before and after it is dry. (I came on holiday). When you can come to repair, as long as it is a working day, you can come at any time with the items you want to repair, no appointment is required. ⭕️Service 5 stars / Items 5 stars / Those who love Japanese tea ceremony, must-know famous shop. During the repair, I happened to encounter two exhibitions, one is Wu Cui's pottery exhibition, and the other is various small cup exhibitions of local folk arts in Japan. Buy the side repair device, no matter what you buy, the boss will wrap it properly, which is reassuring. ⭕️The ceramic is damaged, it is quicker to throw it away. Because an item is only a few hundred thousand. I received an old Japanese coffee cup set before. After receiving it, I found that the edge of the plate was damaged. I asked around, and it cost at least 2000-3000 yuan to repair it. Later, I found Wenshi and started my journey of repairing the old plate. . ⭕️1: Mix raw lacquer with glutinous rice flour to make wheat lacquer, apply the wheat lacquer to the place that needs to be glued and repaired, and let it dry ⭕️Two: After one week, use 800 grit sandpaper to grind the uneven dry paint part to make it fine and smooth. Then use black paint to coat the surface (the black part is the part that will be gold in the future). to dry ⭕️Third: After another week, sand off the dry paint on the protruding surface with 800 grit sandpaper. After sanding, apply another coat of paint. After the paint is applied, the item is placed in a wooden box lined with a damp towel and allowed to dry. (about 1 hour, depending on the weather). Next, the boss will take out a small bag of gold powder, a small package of gold powder imported from Japan (there are also some gold powders imported from Japan, which are cheaper), which costs NT$4,000, pour out the gold powder, take a brush and dip it in gold, and sprinkle it on the lacquer that has just been painted. part. Next, dust off the excess gold dust. ⭕️This time I repaired 2 objects, a small plate and a large plate. The large plate was repaired before and after because of the large damaged area, and the gold powder was used a lot. Small plate raw material 300+gold powder 300=600 Large plate of raw materials 300 + gold powder 1200 = 1500 After having this experience, I will never ask the owner again: It is obviously broken and repaired, why is it not cheaper? Now that I know that gold powder is so expensive, it is very Buddha-minded without a price increase? (laughs)

I chanced upon this shop and I was happy I walked in. The pottery available is excellent and there are many other hand made items. Make sure you visit the upstairs.

Nice artisan shop with warm atmosphere. They have a small tatami space on the second floor. The stairs are quite narrow and steep so better mind steps.
