Give it a try, you will love it!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The clear-broth beef noodle soup tastes better than the other type. Tenderness of beef meat is just right, unlike the not-so-soft tendon chunks. While waiting for the food, you can walk up to an appetizer stand and pick out the items to be cut and priced. This "create-your-own" combo appetizer plate is actually quite tasty! The pasta noodle itself is a little under-cooked (this might be my personal preference). Overall, good value and not-bad taste, but not worth the time waiting in the queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there already 3 times. Awesome noodles, love the fact you can pick sides (called luwei) and they'll make you a delicious dish with it. Enough for 3 people and we only paid 245ntd! Can't beat that. Also owner is quite friendly and helpful! He has a "baby face" what kinda match his personality ?

Chunky semi-steak like beef bathe in clear or Chinese herb and soy sauce based broth, personally I would recommend clear broth so you can taste the poignant beefiness in the soup. Tender meat with chewy thick cut noodle, married them together its a hearty meal that will make your day. At a price of NT$160 per bowl, you will even make your wallet smile.
Another specialty of this place is the appetizer stand, you can pick your own appetizer combo, white radish, tofu and seaweed are my top pick.
This place is not popular tourist destination, but I recommend everyone should give it a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is arguably one of the best places to go if you are interested in doing a research for Taiwan's signature dish, the Beef Noodles.
Two types of broth, 5 types of noodles, and a good variety of beef parts to choose from -- while my personal favorite is the one with clear broth, it's very invigorating to hold on to a bowl of red, hot and spicy beef broth with thick noodles in it.
But what's really satisfactory, is their LU WEI (滷味；or braised dishes, if you will) -- man I'm telling you, this place is the LU WEI heaven. There're many times I was sent to this place not to buy Beef Noodles, but an assortment of LU WEI -- hot dishes; cold dishes; sausages; fried chicken rolls...you name it.
This place deserves a 4 for its noodles and soups; but with their superb LU WEI system, it's worthy of a 4.5.
