★ ★ ★ ★ ★ both the food and the service here are pretty fantastic; if you like taro, the taro-based bone broth is some of the best bone broths around. Though the place can get a bit pricey especially compared to other mala hotpots restaurants around.

service - friendly but they are eager to egg you to order.
taste - great, they seem to have a secret recipie, its quiet different from everyone else.
price - price range from middle to high depending on how rich you are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average to decent hotpot. Clean place, helpful staff. Hotpot and the food we ordered to dip was all good, but the hot soup in the pot had almost no heat (辣椒) and definitely no Sichuan peppercorn (花椒), otherwise, our group was happier than waiting 90min outside of KiKi's a few doors down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meh....it used to be so much better 20 yrs ago, the owner changed guess the recipe changed too. Spend your money elsewhere, theres plenty in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty hotpot. Not cheap, but the beef and pork tasted fresh and crunchy. Just like the vegetables. Egg dumplings and meatballs are also of good quality. Excellent service.
