The food is really not bad, can't get any more authentically Taiwanese than this. Expect long queues, minimal service, and possibly being ignored. Once I waited 10 minutes next in line just to be told they were closed for the day when it was my turn, at 6pm. Could've told me earlier and saved me the wait... just saying... I ended up having the Taiwanese vermicelli and tempura next door, which were both excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try clear dumping with spicy sauces. Open at 3:30 pm til sold out. Always a line up going at 3 o'clock would be best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth giving it a try for traditional Taiwanese meat ball which is very different from Italian style. This is chewy glutinous skin wrapped with meatball inside and sweet sauce over top. Long line but worth the wait. Once sold out, business stops. Park and playground nearby so kids can play while waiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an interesting experience. We were on our way to a subway station when we noticed the long line. Judging by appearances they were locals. I asked what they were for and was told the meat balls. Several people suggested to us to try. But we were really full after that famous beef noodle. But people kept on persuading. So I stood in line for 20 some minutes. The person behind me had been purchasing this meat balls since his childhood. We had a wonderful chat while waiting. I took the order to my hotel and tried later. They were delicious even they were cold. No wander...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best glutinous meat ball in Taipei. They open at 3.30pm and sells out at 6pm. Usually there is at least a 15 min wait, but totally worth it! The casing is super chewy and the meat inside is lightly five spiced. Sauce is not too salty, perfectly balanced. I always have 2!
