★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北部粽米粒帶一點黏感，喜歡香菇的氣味和蛋黃微濕的口感，肉就比較普通且稍乾。很樸實的美味。湖州粽的料比較簡單，黏度較北部粽低，米粒感更明顯一點，個人喜歡湖州粽！
The rice dumplings in the north are a bit sticky. They like the smell of shiitake mushrooms and the slightly moist texture of the egg yolk. The meat is relatively ordinary and slightly dry. Very simple and delicious. The ingredients of Huzhou rice dumplings are relatively simple, the viscosity is lower than that of northern rice dumplings, and the rice grains are more obvious. I personally like Huzhou rice dumplings!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My rating applies to the rice wraps in bamboo leaves (粽）sold here. It may be somewhat unfair as the other offerings of this place could be better than average. On the other hand, the rice wraps are in the store name so I don't feel I am being too harsh.
A three stars rating means the subject of my review is middle of the road as compared to others of the same ilk.
I had given a four stars rating to another place that specializes in rice wraps. The wrap that prompted this review did not taste as good as the ones sold by the other place, hence the three stars rating.
Specifically, the rice has little flavor, the pork is not sufficiently tender, and the egg yolk is too dry. Having stated the above, it would appear my rating is too generous. In this case, three stars means even though the wraps are not supremely satisfying, the wraps are not likely to make you regret the purchase.
