★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh and very good noodles. Portions are quite big. The service is a bit chaotic, nobody speaks English and the price is always different. Nonetheless, it's very good and cheap. Just prepare a picture to order if you don't speak Chinese. I edited my review to remove a second star, as price keeps changing although I eat the same thing! First time 80, second time 100 and today 120!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious beef noodles at a very affordable price. The beef is tender, the knife-sliced noodles are kind of chewy, and it tastes even better with the complimentary pickled cabbage!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality, traditional red braised beef noodles with handmade noodles in a local market just off Xinyi Rd. Just order with the servers and grab a seat wherever you can (sharing tables is common)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favorite beef noodle joint when we lived here and after. It's not fancy, its local - dont get the point if complaining about cleanliness when it's on the edge of a local market. If you want sparkly clean please go one of those fancy overpriced tourist joints. This is always our first meal when we land back in Taiwan. Noodles are thick and chewy and soup base is good. Always very filling. We dream of it when we're not here. Price may have gone up but it's still pretty cheap .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The noodle shop is just nearby the market. It is so crowded in every lunch time.Pork knuckle noodle is the shop's No. 1 meal. You can enjoy the meal with super reasonable price. Besides, I like the noodles itself very much as the mouthfeel is pretty chewy. If you do not like wait for a long time, you can have a dinner meal or afternoon dish here.
