Excellent food and service. The chef was very professional and enthusiastic. Give it a try, especially that they offer lunch specials with decent price.

Great atmosphere for dinning. The sashimi is great. But could be more creative and in detail for this price range to create more value for $1800 set.

Omakase restaurant with prices a bit on the high end ranging from 3000-5000 for dinner. I found the meal a bit hit or miss with a few things I really enjoyed and a number of things that were ok. For the price point I would expect to enjoy almost everything I had. Food: 3.5 stars Service: 4 stars Value: 3 stars Overall: 3.5 stars My meal started with a sashimi platter. This wasn’t really the start of the meal I was hoping for. I found the fish cut too thick and found the sashimi a bit bland. Also, I’m not really a fan of raw squid. When its not cooked its really too chewy for my liking. The shrimp sashimi was my favorite of the sashimi courses. The nigiri part of the meal faired much better. The toro was probably the favorite thing I had and the uni was also really nice. The other sushi was alright but nothing too memorable. The shellfish courses were decent but not really my favorite. For someone who really likes crab the crab course would be a highlight. The crab is prepared three ways (leg, meat pulled in a light sauce, and as terrine). I can appreciate the skill here but the flavor profile didn’t really suit my tastes. This was good but not great. The grilled fish was a bit disappointing. I didn’t find it much better than something I can get an average Japanese restaurant. However, the pumpkin omelette that it was paired with was really good. I really enjoyed that a lot and wish I could have had more. Lots of places in omakase restaurants in Taipei end with a fruit platter, which is never really exciting. The dessert here was a pumpkin pudding, which was really delicious. Surprised that the meal ended really strong considering a lot of bumps along the way to the finish.

What a pleasant surprise, fresh oysters, charcoal crab legs, mouth watering sashimi, casual joyful atmosphere, ?choices of Chablis, most of all, very reasonable price compare to where I am from, HK, 2 thumbs up??

Overall experience was average. Pacing was off, and everything felt very hectic and rushed. Food tasted average.

Delicious and affordable omakase! Chefs speak enough English to get you through, although there will be some trouble with certain types of fish. They have a few omakase menus. We did the lowest one (1.5k) and it was fantastic and filling. There are only a few seats so I recommend booking a reservation a few days before coming. Remember, if you order sake make sure to offer some to your sushi chef!!

Went for lunch: Friendly chef, fresh fish, great taste AND you feel full after the set meal. Worth the price.

Traditional sushi restaurant that is served with pride. The chef has been around for decades and kept serving up freebies. For the price of NT3000 I’d say we were very full and satisfied. The salmon was very fresh and smooth for our palate.
