The defense of pirates or fighting in the Qing Dynasty was meaningless due to the changes of the era. It was demolished in 2011. At the request of local residents, mosaic murals were used to reproduce the significance of the times with art.

Condolences! From small to large, for more than fifty years, I have always felt that even if it drifts past, I have to remove it because of weathering, but I feel empty when I look at the traces left after removal! Once some things are lost, they will never come back!

Poor examples of the preservation of historical buildings in Taiwan. The more famous ones in Taiwan are the Lugang Pass, the Xinzhuang Pass and the Mengjia Pass, but now the other two places have been demolished, leaving only Lugang Pass. Although the local governor first said that the Aimen was not rebuilt as a result of damage to the structure of the nearby house as early as eighty years of the Republic of China, and said that the road must be widened for fire safety, so that the fire truck can enter, so The pass must be demolished, and it is said that the government will fight for reconstruction on the spot. What is fighting? You do n’t want it if you do n’t give it to you! It is said that the Aimen was rebuilt after the restoration, and people with clear eyes know that it can be changed in a large area in the future. Mayor Hao Longbin cooperated with the performance and demolished it in 2011; Whether the building is still a monument, is the space of the Aimen! In this space, you can experience that the ancestors made the gate so small in the late Qing Dynasty for security, defense, or fighting purposes, and there is a gun tower above it, which is easy to defend and difficult to attack; nowadays, only a mosaic mural is made. It ’s not rebuilt on the spot, it ’s funny. This place is the place where the two groups of horses fought in the first part of the movie [艋舺]. The gate was built by local Sanyi people to prevent the attacks of Tongan / Anxi and others. The gate can be closed, and the winding and narrow lanes behind it make it become Residents are important to protect the throat. The present appearance has been transformed with cement, and the former was a gun tower, which was rebuilt to enshrine the land public. According to legend, the god of fortune was a statue brought by the Tangshan master who came to Taiwan to sculpt the Guanyin statue of the Longshan Temple hall three hundred years ago. The house was rented in this pass and all of the surrounding residents followed. Worship, until the Tangshan master completes the work of the Longshan Temple, he will return to the mainland. After pleading with the local residents, he feels that all the people believe in the piety of the God of Ford, and he will leave the idol to this day. The land temple is also very special on the narrow gate, but now it has disappeared, and only the photos are fascinating. Attached is the photograph of the Aimen Gate in 1940. The original photo was provided by Songshan Qiansan Photography.

From the "Longshan Temple" along Guangzhou Street, walk towards the row of "Huaxi Street Night Market". On the right hand side, there is an unremarkable small alley with a small door. , (Demolished in September 2011). In the Qing Dynasty, the Bangjia area was built to ensure the safety of residents. This is like a small city gate, which can be closed when there are bandits and thieves. It is a local defense facility. There are two "Aimen" in the Mengjia, one at the intersection of Guiyang Street and Xichang Street, has been demolished. The other pass is the one on Lane 223 of Guangzhou Street. This narrow gate was completed in the early nineteenth century (Jiaqing period) and was made of brick and stone. There is a door that can be closed to prevent thieves from invading the block. Although several scenes of the movie "Mengjia" were shot at this pass, they were still torn down, and they did not pay any attention to the importance of preservation of the remains.
