本里原為興德里之一部份，後劃出該里取名榮德里，63年12月因人口劇增，將本里1至18鄰保留，19至35鄰劃出另編為光德里，70年4月1日行政區域調整，又將光德里17個鄰併回。79年3月12日台北市第四期區里行政區域調整，復將原銘德里第21、22、26鄰150戶及安德里第22、23鄰106戶併入，仍沿用「榮德」里名。(92年1月16日里鄰調整由20鄰調整為17鄰)
本里為遷建基地人口居住密集，神壇有12座之多，民風純樸，至105年12月份之統計數字，65歲以上老人約有680位(內含100歲以上4位)，可謂養老之最佳住所。
Features
Benri was originally a part of Hindeli, and was later designated as Rongdeli. In December 63, due to a sharp increase in population, Benli 1 to 18 neighbors were reserved, and 19 to 35 neighbors were designated as Guang Delhi. On April 1, 1970, the administrative region was readjusted and 17 neighbors of Guangdeli were brought back. On March 12, 1979, the administrative area of the fourth district of Taipei City was reorganized, and the former 150 households in the 21st, 22nd, and 26th neighborhoods of Mingli and 106 households in the 22nd and 23rd neighborhoods of Andri were merged. Name. (Adjustment of neighborhood on January 16, 1992 changed from 20 to 17)
This area is a densely populated area for relocation and construction. There are as many as 12 altars and simple folk customs. As of December 105, there are about 680 elderly people over 65 years old (including 4 people over 100 years old). The best place to stay.
