★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 只吃過饅頭,乳酪、紅麴、南瓜、原味等,都還不錯,星期日(隔週)會在溪洲市場口擺攤。
I have only eaten steamed buns, cheese, red yeast rice, pumpkin, original flavor, etc., all of which are not bad. On Sundays (the next week), they will set up a stall at the entrance of Xizhou Market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Started more than a year ago, I bought from a vendor at ZhongLun Market (中崙市場)the steamed bun (饅頭ManTou, or steamed bread)for my breakfast, or lunch. The variety I bought was call whole wheat steamed bun(全麥饅頭), what I learned later, it should be prepared in regular wheat flour, and added with bran (the supermarket near by has similar product, called bun added with bran, 加麩饅頭JiaFuManTou).
Initially I paid NTD100 (about USD3.5 equivalent)for 13 buns, and several months later, I paid NTD100, to get only 11 buns, I was told that their cost was up, so the selling price had to be increased, I accepted that statement. Just imagine, to spend about NTD10 only to have your breakfast settled, or 70% of your lunch settled, there shouldn’t be any big deal to complain about, really.
While comparing with those sold in the bakeries, usually a regular bread would cost us about NTD35, which is in a bigger size, but not in the same weight of flour, bread would usually look bigger by having more air in it. So it’s far cheaper to take a steamed bun, than a bread for a meal, not counting in the flavor, the smell, and any imagination or sentiment associated with the bread, simply for the practicability.
I bought the buns, and put them in the freezer, whenever I wanted to have it, I brought one and put it in the steam cooker (電鍋, or rice cooker)for about 10 minutes, then took it with soybean milk (豆漿DouJiang)or coffee. For lunch, I would bring the steamed one with me, and order a portion of soup in any store I could find, finished both pretty soon.
p.s. What I bought in ZhongLun Market is made by this MingShiLaoMianManTou明石老麵饅頭. As for this store, I have another story to tell, later.

I used to buy Shandong big steamed buns on Heping East Road, and I am used to it. One big steamed bun can be eaten for breakfast twice. Later, I saw that they were also selling in the Zhonglun Market. The steamed buns were small and I could eat one at a time, but after the calculation, the prices of the two were about the same. After I went home and steamed them, I found them delicious. Ask them, it turns out that they come here to sell products every two weeks.
I asked them for business cards. It turned out that our shop is in Wanhua. But in fact, they also set up a stall in Zhonglun Market every Thursday. They ran to see it today, and they did. Not only did they buy steamed buns, they also bought Gangzitou to try.
I have eaten a fire made by people from Shaanxi before, and it is very full. I guess the head of the bar should be similar. I'll talk about it later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 很傳統的山東麵食,愛吃紮實老麵的話,很值得一嚐。 貼鍋饅頭(像胡椒餅一樣烤過的),還有槓子頭都不錯。
希望可以一直做下去!
Very traditional Shandong noodles, if you like to eat solid old noodles, it is worth a try. Paste the steamed buns (baked like pepper cake), and the head of the stick is good.
I hope I can continue to do it!
