★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local Taiwanese breakfast place. Traditional and old, but it’s tasty and worth the price. Be aware coming during summer thou, it will be super hot as air conditioning is really weak!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably need a basic understanding of the language to get by at this corner place. Cheap, fast, but probably can get better tasting elsewhere. (soy milk could use more flavor, Xlb very underwhelming.) Hit the jet lagged morning breakfast spot though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very affordable and delicious way to start your day. The fried dough fritters were fresh and imo best when dipped into the soy bean milk served in bowls (hot/warm/cold). Carrot cake is light but a different style without the crsipy seared skin. (menu captured in the review picture in case you need it pre-translated)
