★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plan ahead before coming to this place. Do be prepared for a 30 minute climb if you wish to take your time at an average pace. Lights at the Taipei 101 turn off at 10pm on regular days, and the small observation platform can get crowded, so you might be disappointed if you go late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there in a very hot day, and the handrails were under construction so it was a bit annoying. but when I reached the top, it was really worthwhile. Very beautiful scene of Taipei 101, really refreshing and relaxing. It got very crowded after 4pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best tourist spot in Taipei for views. Be willing to hole up steep steps for about 20-30 minutes. Avoid going on hot and humid days. Night views are great. Bring mosquito repellent and layers of clothing. Be willing to hike beyond the rocks for another few vantage points that are superior to the first few stops along the main path.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s nice hike, not too long but very intense, during sunset it’s gets very crowded because people line up to take pictures on top of the rock. While there are others that are sat on other rocks for hours trying to find themselves...watch out when it gets dark, it is indeed lightened but there are some spots where it’s very dark and you can’t see where you put your feet
