★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location high up YanMingShan overlooking the cala lily fields. Amazing food - the best version of everything on the menu. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Sufficient English on the menu and spoken by the staff that non-Chinese-speakers can go there alone. Plenty of beverage choices including fresh cold bottled beer. Worth the drive any time of year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect setting with both outdoor seating in the heart of Yangmingshan and tasteful indoor separated rooms. Food was surprisingly good, especially the simple chicken that is marinated in a way that lets its natural flavors shine. The braised pork ribs and the chicken soup were also standouts. The vegetable dishes could do with less ginger. Overall an excellent restaurant to spend a leisurely afternoon at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great choice for lunch selection after mountain climbing in YangMingShan area. Try to sit outside then you can experience weather changing in 20 mins, from foggy cloud Forrest to sunny spring! And it’s just 20 mins from Baitou.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaruant can accomodate group in a traditionally-decorated style house. You can taste mountain-specific vegetables as well as seafood. The total spending of a group of 7 will not exceed NT3500. Normally visitors can stay at this retaurant and also nearby trails for about 1~2 hrs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was quite the experience having lunch outdoor under the trees in autumn, with the hot herbal soup, 白切鸡. One of the most memorable meal at 阳明山. And not overly commercial. We were there early and so it was just us, like a cost private meal outside a timeless residence. Highly recommended
