The taste of when I was a child, now this kind of serious lo-mei is almost impossible to find, not only the price is cheap but also the real material, the owner and the wife are kind, generous and talkative! Must try! P.S their spicy sauerkraut is very tasty ?

For lo-mei, it is considered cheap, but unfortunately there is no price list, and I don’t remember the price once I buy it once in a while. I queued for about 15 minutes each time

This delicious lo-mei stall is actually on the road to success, and if you enter from Huguang Market, they are stall number four. The sauce is full of flavor and the food is delicious. A good stall that will be repurchased again!

i	ianju chant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh wow this popular stall still hasn’t got one English review so here it goes! 滷味 (pronounced as lǔ wèi, literally means “braised flavours”) is a very popular traditional Taiwanese street food. Basically you just pick whatever you want from the stall (veggies, meat, noodles.. they normally have a lot to choose from) and then the staff would help you to braise it with their special house soup. The ingredients are usually precooked so they would dip it quickly or just put the broth in the bag. This one stall has friendly owners and the prices is cheaper than others and the taste is still nice, and that’s why there’s a queue already before it opens! They run til late and there’s not so many people by then so if you drop by after 11 you can give yourself a go and try something local!
