★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time trying the salt grilled eel rice, and it's delicious. The eel rice comes with a bowl of miso soup, an egg roll, and pickled gingers.
Also ordered the grilled chicken and the one of mentaiko. The mentaiko is a bit too salty but still good, yet the other is over grilled.
By the way, they take JKOPAY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The facade and the front of the restaurant provokes the era of ancient Japan, which enables the customers to sink in the ambience of exotic environment The barbecued beef and salmon are chewy and tender. The portion of eel rice is proper. Neither insufficient nor abundant quantity disturbs my fine dinning experience. It's highly recommended for those who have searched a restaurant serving eel rice with the balance of portion and texture for so long but in vain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of, if not the best, unagi-don joint on the east side of town. Domesticated eel is bone-free, rich, juicy, savory, and roasted to perfection. Coupled with locally sourced (Yunlin county) super plump and fragrant Taiwan rice, home made top secret eel sauce, all packed in the authentic Japanese lacquerware box, truly an epic experience. Place is also an izakaya and the skewers are to die for. Highly recommended!

This is the only place I. Know so far that you are (almost) sure that eels are boneless. Parents can safely let kids enjoy the yummy fish with no worries.
The eels are fresh and very tasty. I personally prefer the Salted ones as one can really savour the eel. The special terriyaki on the side is a Must try. It adds flavour and sweetness to the warm rice. Simply yummy
The service staff are friendly. Good food, great service.. Plus, what Taiwanese says.. CP #1
