★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice park, clean and relaxing. It hosts a national museum, one nice pagoda, a modern art memorial building and some kid playground areas among other things. It's very close to Chiang-Kai Check memorial park and to presidential office, so it's a nice stop in Taipei visit even if the park is not outstanding. Be aware that the name "park" does not make it appropriate for running, mostly because it is a memorial park and it is a bit too small.

Suitable for walks and chilling out with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calm, soothing place to get away from the city bustle. It's nice during the day, but my favorite time to visit is in the evening, when the lights and water features give it an almost magical quality. Great dog-watching too.

A place to go and learn about the country's history. There are some museums in the area, one of them about the incident from February 28th.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful park with great access and has deeper meaning as it exist to commemorate one of Taiwan’s darkest history. Located close to many vital objects in Taipei. Must visit when you come to Taipei.
