★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst restaurant I've ever seem. If you want to try real Taiwanese food, do not get in.
I was order a meat rice,noodles and dumpling, and it cost me 260NT. The rice tasted too dry and the gravy just like water. The noodles was cooked and soak in hot water without any seasoning. The dumpling just like frozen food. Even buy the same thing in convenient store, it will taste better than this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really yummy ginger chicken with great sauces. I usually don't like this much ginger but that time I ate quite a lot. Will definitely eat here again next time I go to Jiufen^^ Just a bit strange seeing all those chickens on display with their lolling heads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located almost at the end of Jiufen Old Street before we go down by stairs to reach Amei Tea House (the iconic tea house in Jiufen), 小師父 / xiao shi fu is recommended for its xiao long bao from our local guide. Everywhere, every corner of Jiufen always crowded with people, including this restaurant.
Here are what we tried :
爌肉飯 / kong rou fan / Stewed Pork Rice (NT$ 70)
A bowl of warm rice served with stewed pork along with two pieces of braised pork belly.
小籠包 / xiao long bao (NT$ 120)
Consisting of eight pieces of xiao long bao filled with pork, served with its soy sauce and ginger. I'm the type who like xiao long bao with "thin" liquid filling, so that when we bite the xiao long bao, the filling will "bomb" in our mouth ? This one has less liquid filling, but the taste is still okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw a lot of bad reviews, but actually I don’t really know why . Food is not bad , comparing to any other restaurant in Jiufen this place is quite cheap and the taste of food is ok . ? I give them three stars only because for me food was a little it not enough salty , we tried egg pancake ,chicken , spinach , cabbage , chicken rice and noodles , where I can say that noodles and cabbage was very tasty , the rest of food was ok . But in my opinion the place is a good choice for dinner in Jiufen , not very expensive and good food.
