★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mere size of the place tells you outright that this place used to be of much significance. The ruins are what's left behind by a gold and copper giant of Taiwan's past. The black lines snaking up from the complex to the mountains remind us of the extent of it's operations and is actually the longest one in Taiwan. The area around here still tell us of the abundance around with the nearby falls and the waters close to the shore bearing a gold hint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 13-story cultural site was built by Jiufen Jinguashi for mining needs.
There are also a waste flue nearby where many people will explore
But now because of safety considerations, it’s sealed and not allowed to tourists.
Because the refining in the mining factory produces a lot of heavy metals
No environmental awareness before
Just discharge these heavy metal pollutants from the factory directly into the sea outside
Go further down and you will see the very famous Yin Yang Sea
Even after many years
The sea water still shows different colors
This attraction has also become a shooting location for many photographers
Some outdoor shots will come to this ruin for shooting
Although it is a monument
But lack of proper planning
If we can cooperate with the Tourism Bureau
Will be a very good outdoor teaching material

It’s really beautiful!
Definitely worth visiting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a historical site with abandoned buildings, such as factories, restaurants, theaters, residential houses, chimneys, and etc. The location was famous for gold mining and bronze mining. This village was the most crowded township in Taiwan, but decayed in population for the sake of the “Taiwan Gold mining company “ broken.
