★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 從「土地公廟」或是「蘭平千里」入口走到山頂觀景台大約 10至15分鐘。可以看到宜蘭海邊。
It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk from the entrance of "Titu Gong Temple" or "Lanping Thousand Miles" to the top viewing platform. You can see Yilan Beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以前老師分發到偏鄉學校教學！從雙溪火車站下車！挑行李走路到泰平國小就任，走山路約8公里！到此地時已非常疲憊，剛好有個土地公廟，稍坐休息！剛好遇到路過的人便問這裡要到泰平國小還有多遠！回答約還要走約8公里才會到達！遠望大樟嶺那麼高還要走那麼遠！甘脆就放棄分發教學不幹了！
Teachers used to distribute to rural schools for teaching! Get off at Shuangxi Railway Station! Pick up your luggage and walk to Taiping Elementary School to take up your post, and walk about 8 kilometers on the mountain road! When I got here, I was very tired, and there happened to be a Di Gong Temple. Sit and rest! I just met someone passing by and asked how far it is to get to Taiping Elementary School! The answer is about 8 kilometers to get there! Looking far away at Da Zhangling so high, we still have to go so far! Just give up distributing teaching and quit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 辭職嶺古道泰平里路段的杜鵑花群不知怎麼的於109年底幾乎被剪砍伐光了。雙溪區公所的主事者腦袋在想什麼? 花變少了!今年起要賞花就落空。此路段己經沒有觀景的價值!不想再去了。真是可惜了!
Somehow the azaleas on the Taipingli section of the Resigning Ridge were almost cut down at the end of 109. What are the heads of the Sungai District Office thinking? There are fewer flowers! From this year onwards, the flowers will be in vain. This section has no value for viewing! I don't want to go anymore. What a pity!
