Japanese Occupation Period In 1111 of the Showa era, in 1936, the rich man of Luzhou, Li Wei, built a mixture of Chinese and Japanese-style two-story bricks with eight corners in a concave shape. The octagonal building is in the form of two bedrooms and one hall, and there is still a well in the future, which is kept intact. On the first floor of this western-style villa, Japanese white ceramic tiles are laid on the facade, and there are terraces on the second floor. The outer eaves are decorated with dripping water. The founder "Li Wei" operated the old Tianxing Silver Building on Yanping North Road in Taipei City. The octagonal building was his villa residence. After the war, an air force general lived in it. Later, "Chen Bingkun" bought the octagonal building and used it as the "Dongzhou Chemical Pharmaceutical Factory" Plant and office building. It was announced as a historic building in 2004, and it was the first historic building in Luzhou to apply to the county government for registration with a private industry.
