It's a pity that you can't enter! The Shurangama pavilion, which is next to Kaishanyuan, is the place where Lingyun Temple provides meditation for believers. The word "Srangama" comes from the Buddhist classics "Srangama Sutra" ("Diamond Sutra"). This place is for worship. The young novice monks in the temple calmly meditate and practice Buddhism, and they also serve as a place to entertain guests and believers. The second generation of abbot Benyuan was built in the 15th year of the Republic of China (1926). The building materials were built with Guanyinshan stone to form a two-story stone house. The form of the building is a combination of different styles of the merger of China and the West. The arcade gallery shows the northern Taiwan's The local color, the head of the stone column is with the flavor of elegant baroque shape, the triangular top facade of the roof presents a strong Indian Buddhist style, and the old woods in the courtyard further demonstrate the thick and elegant building. The entrance gate of the Shurangama Pavilion has the three characters "Srangama Pavilion" inscribed by Master Juejing. On both sides of the gate, there are couplets of "Langya Saying Li Rentian, Yanjing Lantern Passes on Samadhi". There are two main buildings in the Lrangyan Pavilion, the right side is called Guanyuetai, and the left side is samadhi. Regardless of size and purpose, the planning and design are all made by the master Abbot Juejing, and the entire building materials are all local Guanyin rock Built. Its style is a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The arcade corridor presents a Chinese Southern Fujian style. The stone pillars are decorated with elegant Baroque shapes. As for the triangular top facade of the roof, it is full of Indian Buddhist style. This is because Master Juejing visited India in the early days. Learning from the experience was influenced by local culture and customs, so it was used in the overall building of the Shurangama Pavilion.
