★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 很好且安靜的地方，但是服務人員不太理人，詢問問題愛理不理，問二樓閱覽室可否上去竟回達：上去啊，反正有監視器；感覺自己被誤會成壞人了，二樓閱讀區空曠安靜 一人一桌椅是讀書好地方，帶好像沒人使用有一堆灰塵、冷氣、照明都沒開，實在可惜啦
A nice and quiet place, but the service staff didn’t care about others, and asked questions and ignored them. Asked if the reading room on the second floor could go up and finally answered: Go up, there is a monitor anyway; I feel like I’ve been misunderstood as a bad person, on the second floor. The reading area is empty and quiet. One person, one table and chair is a good place for reading. It seems that no one is using it. There is a lot of dust, air-conditioning, and lighting are not turned on. What a pity

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 服務熱誠不足！前幾天因應文化局的活動，和老婆和兩個孩子到此借書。當時館內並無其他讀者，然而當時的女性館員的口氣很不客氣，讓人很不舒服，好像我們的到訪造成麻煩。我們並無大聲喧嘩，也沒有詢問有的沒有的問題，單純挑書和借閱，很難理解為何會這樣！因為文化局活動，拜訪了新竹縣十幾個鄉鎮圖書館，但就只有橫山鄉圖書館讓人有不受歡迎的感覺，也或許是只有這位館員這樣，也或許是有誤會，但還是建議改進！
Insufficient service! A few days ago, in response to the activities of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, I went here to borrow books with my wife and two children. There were no other readers in the library at that time, but the female librarian at the time was very unkind and uncomfortable, as if our visit caused trouble. We didn't make a lot of noise, and we didn't ask any questions. It's hard to understand why we just pick and borrow books! Because of the Cultural Affairs Bureau’s activities, I visited more than a dozen township libraries in Hsinchu County, but only the Hengshan Township Library made people feel unwelcome. Maybe it was only this librarian. Maybe there was a misunderstanding. Suggest improvements!
