★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 去的時間不太對沒看到太多紅楓葉，不過是個健行爬山鍛鍊的好地方，因為偏僻所以基礎路有點小，下雨天要很小心會很滑
 I didn’t see too many red maple leaves at the time I went, but it’s a good place for hiking and mountain climbing. Because of the remoteness, the basic road is a bit small. Be careful when it rains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 馬鞍駐在所周圍有很多的楓樹，，抬頭即可看到，11月底到12月初，甚至1月(看當年降雨量決定楓紅時間)可欣賞楓葉由綠轉黃、轉紅的美景。
一日遊可以此「馬鞍駐在所」當作折返點（從養老出發），來回約5～5.5小時；
若想再走更遠，可走至「白石吊橋」，來回約6～6.5小時
There are many maple trees around the saddle station. You can see from the end of November to the beginning of December, or even January (depending on the rainfall that year determines the time of the maple red), you can enjoy the beauty of the maple leaves changing from green to yellow and red.
For a day trip, this "saddle station" can be used as a turning point (departing from the pension), and it takes about 5 to 5.5 hours to go back and forth;
If you want to go further, you can walk to the "White Rock Suspension Bridge" for about 6 to 6.5 hours back and forth

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平台寬闊，可以休憩賞楓。11/24楓葉還沒紅，幾乎都還是綠的，只有樹梢才剛開始變黃。
養老出發後過步道18公里之後有封路，封路處無指示牌，只有樹幹橫放並有機車停放路中間；要改道左手邊陡上坡，改道坡陡路溼滑不好走。改道路徑會接回步道17公里處，再前行不遠即到馬鞍。
The platform is wide and you can relax and admire the maple. 11/24 The maple leaves were not red yet, almost all of them were still green, only the tops of the trees had just begun to turn yellow.
After the pension set off, there is a road closure after 18 kilometers of the trail. There is no sign at the road closure, only the tree trunks are placed horizontally and the motor vehicle is parked in the middle of the road; the left hand side must be diverted to the steep slope, and the steep road is slippery and difficult to walk. The diverted path will connect back to the 17-kilometer trail, and then you will reach the saddle a short distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 前3公里沒有什麼景色，到馬鞍賞完楓即可回程，節省體力，目前楓紅尚可維持1個月！
There is no scenery in the first 3 kilometers. You can return after enjoying the maple in the saddle, saving energy. At present, the red maple can be maintained for 1 month!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although it’s just the beginning of Autumn and the trees are still yellow, it’s pretty enough for me. At least it’s my first time to see Autumn in Taiwan. I believe it will look nicer now. It’s pity that I probably won’t have a chance to come back
