★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is not easy to find, it looks like someone's house along the road when you first approach it. Service is quite good but I guess it's not really my type of food. Do try the stir fried vegetable dishes, they are very well done. The specialty is the grilled wild boar meat which is tender with crunchy fatty bits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible food and service. Great Amei tribe aboriginal dishes in a comfortable setting with indigenous decor. A great restaurant for a rest as you will be treated with only the best service and Indigenous food in the country. Beautiful handmade decorations and stunning paintings adorn the walls, adding to the rustic charm of the place.
This restaurant has been operated by the same owner for 17 years and is well known by the locals. The service is also top notch. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this local gem and boy were we excited! Authentic indigenous foods. Professional and courteous staff with clear communication and introduction. All dishes were tasty in perfect presentation. Highly recommended and we surely visit again whenever we’re in Hualien. Just a side note. It’s kinda hard to spot at night since there wasn’t lit sign. It took us a bit to find it but it was all worthwhile.
