英才路自治街巷弄內的數十年老店,供應的是台中典型的中式早餐,也受到不少在地人支持。 自治街無名麵店菜單上的「乾麵」其實就是台中一般來說的炒麵,這次造訪除了乾麵另點了綜合豬料湯和一份白切隔間肉(亦即北部稱的肝連肉)。乾麵的麵體不算非常紮實,淋上肉燥後上桌的原本調味我個人也覺得算比較清淡,所以自然就得再淋上台中標準的東泉辣醬和蒜泥,之後的確風味增色不少(或者說到了比較可入口的程度);綜合湯的一大特色是有附一塊豆腐(和平等街的阿坤麵有點類似的豆腐),然後自治街的綜合湯不含豬血而只有一些豬雜,整體風味也算是淡雅;最後那白切隔間肉則是可品到取自新鮮溫體豬的肉香氣和不錯口感。 整體而言覺得就還可以的庶民小食,單就炒麵和豬料湯而言個人覺得台中還有更好吃的選擇。

街內的角間,沒明顯招牌但是攤位上滿滿的麵條就是人氣所在,第一眼很像阿坤麵,一樣油麵搭配韭菜、豆芽,但是肉燥則是清爽不油膩,又可以吃到肉塊和肉香的,桌上當然不少蒜泥、辣椒醬等配料,另外吸引的是那大鍋滾的什錦湯,一塊塊的豆腐吸飽飽湯汁,各種豬雜綜合總是台中人們的喜愛,帶點白色但不膩的湯底,整碗清爽口味很適合早餐的胃口。
