S	Shih-Hung Chiang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「烈美堂」為市定古蹟南屯萬和宮老二媽祖居地，每三年有往返萬和宮及烈美堂的遶境活動，原西平公園位為烈美堂門口原有的「大漁池」，民國85年經徵收改建為公園，該地理位置、象徵意義非凡。為使地方文化完整保存，此次公園改善方案包含調整基地草坡土丘高程，讓視線可穿透至烈美堂，並創造遶境活動可停留的廣場空間、增加視覺穿透性，同時增設1座水池重塑大漁池意象；且110年適3年一度遶境盛會，建設局先前即訂下於活動前完成整建目標，感謝烈美堂、 "Liemeitang" is the residence of the second Mazu of Wanhe Palace in Nantun, a city-determined historic site. There are detours between Wanhe Palace and Liemeitang every three years. "The Great Fishing Pond" was requisitioned and converted into a park in 1985. This geographical location and symbolic significance are extraordinary. In order to preserve the local culture intact, the improvement plan of the park includes adjusting the elevation of the grass slope and mound of the base so that the line of sight can penetrate to Liemeitang, creating a square space where detour activities can stay, increasing visual penetration, and adding 1 pool reshapes the image of a large fishing pond; and in 110 years, it is a three-year detour event. 陳	陳婕甯 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無意間發現的這座小公園，晚上十分悠靜，氣氛很不錯；後來上網查詢，原來這裡還是台中市的歷史建築之一，裡面的供奉的是天后媽祖；這座廟是紀念當初來這裡的開墾的先祖張廖氏六世祖日享公派下系第十四祖烈美公，因此這條街更是以其名來命名，這裡也就被稱為烈美堂。全台供奉的媽祖都是林，但唯有這座廟宇供奉的媽姐是姓廖，這一個冷知識，還真的令我有點驚喜；南屯的萬和宮媽祖每年都會舉辦一次回西屯祖厝烈美堂的遶境活動，是一項很特殊的宗教活動。 I discovered this small park by accident. The ancestor of the reclamation, Zhang Liao's sixth ancestor, Lixianggong, is the 14th ancestor of Liemei Gong, so this street is named after it, and it is also called Liemei Hall. All the Mazu worshipped in Taiwan are Lin, but only the mother and sister worshipped in this temple is surnamed Liao. This cold knowledge really surprised me a bit; the Wanhe Palace Mazu in Nantun holds a Huixitun every year. The circumnavigation activity of Zucuo Liemeitang is a very special religious activity.
