Taichung City Tun District Art and Culture Center is located in Taiping District, Taichung City. It provides a good venue for literary and art exhibitions and performances. There are many exhibitions or performances, which can improve the cultural level of Taichung citizens. Those who are interested in the event can go to the official website for more information on the exhibition. In fact, I came here not just to watch the exhibition, but to take a walk here. If there are no special large-scale exhibitions, this is a very good leisure place; the outdoor space is planned quite well. The main building of the Art and Culture Center in Tun District, Taichung City has a very design sense, especially the six big red carved columns at the entrance, which are very eye-catching, and the carved totems have their own imagery, which combines Chinese style elements and is very spectacular. In addition to the outdoor performance venues, the outdoor promenades are also well maintained, and there is a plastic art installation at the top.

It is an art and cultural venue located in Taiping District, Taichung City, Taiwan, and is a subordinate agency of the Cultural Bureau of Taichung City Government. 2013/7/7 I was visiting my student there just to congratulate her because she invited me and my friend there to see her performance. We understood we were late and without tickets so we weren't allowed to go in. We both respect the rule so we waited outside. But the first moment that we opened the glass door, 4 of the staff came towards us with serious face and we wanted to ask them where and when can we give the flowers to one of the performer and what they care about was "Do you have tickets?". We didn't have tickets so they told us that we had to wait so we waited and we weren't allow to wait "inside" of the glass door which I don't understand why. Then of course we waited outside and watched from the screen. One of the staff (Staff A) came outside and told us that we could go in because the show is finished. My friend asked her 3 times to confirm that we CAN actually go in and my friend even pointed at the second door and the staff said "Yes". As soon as we walked in, another lady(one of the 4 staffs) by the other door stopped me when my friend just walked pass the second door. We tried to explain to the 2nd lady(Staff B) that Staff A at the door told us that we could go in. Then she said "Please respect the organizer". We told her that we went in only because Staff A told us that we could go in. Then Staff B asked Staff A, then A said "No." What was that?? AS STAFFS WHO WORK THERE DON'T EVEN KNOW YOUR OWN RULE THEN DON'T EXPECT OTHERS CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU CALL "RULES"!!! YOU MADE THE RULE, WE RESPECT THAT BUT DON'T EXPECT EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!! Which part of this that we didn't respect the organizer? We don't work there, how do we KNOW the RULE that you have? Why not just send a staff outside and stop all the guests and let them know that the guests are NOT ALLOWED to wait inside? AND WHAT IS THE REASON THAT THE GUESTS CANNOT WAIT INSIDE? 2 of the staff from the organizer came and explain the rule. We told them what we wanted to do and we DID respect the rule. Of course, Organizer A tried to calm us down so she went in and asked the performer to come out to the lobby to get her flowers. After the performer went back inside, Organizer A said in a tone that REALLY MAKE PEOPLE MAD, and more likely "Are you satisfied?", as in Chinese "這樣可以了嗎?" YOU EITHER MAKE YOUR RULE EXTREMELY CLEAR WITH EVERY LITTLE DETAILS THAT YOU WANT PEOPLE TO FOLLOW RIGHT OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING OR TRAIN YOUR STAFF WELL ENOUGH TO HANDLE THE SITUATION!! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN TAIWAN AND I AM SURE I WON'T WANT TO VISIT SUCH PLACE WITH NOT-WELL-TRAINED STAFF WHO DON'T EVEN KNOW THE "RULES"!! AS TO RATE ON THE SCALE THAT YOU HAVE ON THE WEBSITE, YOU SHOULD HAVE A SCALE WITH "BELOW POOR".
