Good buffet, plentiful and mostly of good quality, especially the steamed oyster and egg tars.

Buffet Restaurant : Summary - Low quality, large Buffet inside a Shopping Mall. The Pros: Good variety and located inside a mall, so parking is not an issue. The Cons: The food quality was low or below average. The meats tasted old, the seafood was mushy (sushi and sashimi). The place gets easily overcrowded, the prices are high and there is a 90 minutes time limit. There are several better buffets in the city at a similar cost.

It's an indulging experience-various fresh food. Varieties of seafood is less than expectations though. They still have sashimi, crabs, shrimps, mussels, squids if you like them alot. Highlights for me are fresh beef soup, shrimps and sashimi, beef cheek stew, Schweinshaxe, tiramisu and creme brulee from desert bar and Haagan-Daaz's roast tea flavor. I am willing to visit it for weekday lunch.

Buffet was decent quality. The vast array of dishes ranged from western style roast beef, ham and fried foods. Japanese food consisted of sushi, tempura and sashimi. Chinese cuisine mainly was lots of seafood, cantonese bbq, and various sides. Overall a great experience nothing too out of the ordinary for a taiwanese buffet. Price was reasonable.

Our whole family got food poisoning after eating at this restaurant. We had diarrhea and vomiting and fevers for days afterwards. We're still looking for the refund. Luckily my pregnant wife didn't, so it must have been their raw food. Avoid at all costs!

Asian food section is pretty weak, Salad section is great, a lot of choices and very fresh, Desserts are the best section of all. Got all kind of cakes and sweets, 8 different choices of Hagondaz icecream. It's very competitive with other buffet restaurant around this price...Seafood is a bit disappointed, not fresh enough.

Foods: very nice quality, well cooked and designed menu. Also there are a lot of choices from Chinese, Western to Japanese. Location: locates at Sogo 16F, share the parking lots downstairs with the department store. Can see the city view at window tables, but not much to see from this building actually. Services: the service is excellent, very prompt clean up and serving foods in time. But the only complaint is that they are really rush people in at the reservation time. Decoration: looks nice and easy Overall: good buffet, suitable for family or friends gathering.

excellent spread in each category. hilai harbour has much better desserts--although still not hotel quality--than its competitor (such as eattogether). german pork knuckle was a slight disappointment because whilst the skin looked crispy, it was not. it was very tender though. sashimi (which includes salmon and tuna) was reasonably fresh. dessert recommendations include portuguese tarts, strawberry cake, and the opera like cake. Bassett's ice cream is overrated in our opinion and lacked the sophistication of a premium ice cream such as haagen dazs and mövenpick. -1 star for above mentioned plus the fact that they don't start seating you until the start time which means you're not actually getting the full amount of time to eat, especially if you are at the back of the line (waiting to be seated). a more fair thing to do is to seat everyone before the start time and have people wait until the start time to start. visit(s): 20211023
