民營之臺灣合同電氣株式會社完成「社寮角發電所」（水源來自電火圳，源頭則是八堡圳），開啟大甲溪流域水力發電的先聲。
CE 1996年8月1日，併入大甲溪發電廠，改稱社寮機組。
CE 1997年6月之後，改由天輪遙控中心管理。

The privately-owned Taiwan Contract Electric Co., Ltd. completed the "Sheliaojiao Power Station" (the water source comes from the Dianhuozhen, and the source is the Babaozhen), a precursor to hydropower generation in the Dajia River Basin.
CE was merged into Dajiaxi Power Plant on August 1, 1996 and was renamed as Sheliao Unit.
After CE June 1997, it was managed by Tianlun Remote Control Center.
