永豐村:俗稱虎仔腳瘡因位於永豐村與后里鄉的月眉村相連接月眉山,再此地形狀如一隻睡虎的臀部而得名.
位於外埔鄉東方因開鑿水利的關係舊稱頂六分.
民國34年台灣光復後,頂六分改為永豐村是因灌溉用水充沛常使五穀豐登為祈福蔭久長而取名永豐.

Yongfeng Community Environmental Education Park is next to the activity center
Yongfeng Village: Commonly known as Tiger Foot Sore, it is named after Yuemei Mountain, which is located in Yongfeng Village and Yuemei Village in Houli Township, and is shaped like the buttocks of a sleeping tiger.
Located in the east of Waipu Township, it was formerly known as Dingliufen because of the water conservancy excavation.
After Taiwan's liberation in 1934, Dingliufen was changed to Yongfeng Village. It was named Yongfeng because of the abundant irrigation water, which often made the grains abundant and prayed for long-lasting shade.
