★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not authentic Sichuan flavors, but rather, a modified flavor for the Taiwanese palate (sweetened and MSG laden). Although you do get the authentic mainlander service attitude. We had the chili paste fish with tofu. It was starchy, sweet, and the roe hadn't formed yet. Way overpriced! The Kung Pao Chicken was too sweet, and although it did have dried chili, it wasn't the least spicy. The stir fried beans and salty egg bitter melon were bland and a let down. Sichuan cuisine is known for their spiciness; Sichuan peppercorn, garlic, bay leaves, star anise, etc... come on! Have some balls and put some spices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place if you are looking for delicious stir fried dishes. I only give it a four stars for a selfish reason. (Because I don't want to wait for table if this places gets too popular)
Their price is very reasonable and food it pretty good for the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were treated to a dinner here by local friends. It is as close to the authentic Sichuan dinner as it gets - yes, I visited Chengdu etc. many times - so you have to be able to withstand some spiciness to enjoy it here. And I guess I was out of shape so I found it a little too much to my palate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personally, I think this restaurant is very so so. But, my husband, who has cravings for old-fashioned spicy fish, really like their spicy fish (probably because the CP is high, see picture attached, very large fish for less than NT$1,000). The only thing I like here is fried bread roll!
