★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 這邊是陽明山一日東西大縱走的雞心崙所在位置，也是山路交通的要衝位置，有一觀景平台並設有了兩枚解說牌，觀景平台旁有一舊時遺留下來的軍事設施，現已棄置不用，僅供一般遊客遊覽用，觀景平台有兩層，所以要看美麗風景就到二層觀景平台，可遠望七星山和竹篙山，展覽非常棒，絕對值得一覽。一層平台位置則因為上面還有一層，所以沒有展望但是在烈日當頭的情況，很適合在這邊整補行李，喝點水休息一下，從這邊可通往真正的雞心崙位置，只不過沒有路標，前往的遊客請務必確認清楚方位還有行進的方向，以免迷路。
