★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this restaurant while exploring the oldest traditional market Chiayi East Market. We ordered chicken rice, chicken noodle, grilled milkfish belly and milkfish soup.
Overall tasted good but highly recommend milkfish soup! The fish soup was savoury and the milkfish tasted really fresh. If you are visiting the Chiayi East Market, remember to drop by for a meal.

place is clean and tidy;
Personally prefer chicken slice rice than shredded meat rice, the check sauce flavor taste just great.
You can find budget local street food here, and the chicken butt meat is also a personal recommend.
Very popular, and note it's difficult to find car park nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Turkey rice: tender turkey and just the right amount of sauce with rice, it's so delicious. The place is spacious and clean, service is good and tables fill up pretty fast. People also lined up for takeaways. Highly recommend to those wishing to try out popular local cuisines. Oh, and they have two gorgeous cats, a bonus to this trip.
