20211106 Zhuluo's First Temple Jiayi Shuangzhong Temple The Shuangzhong Temple worships Shuangzhong gods, Zhang Xun and Xu Yuan, who are well-known loyal ministers of the Tang Dynasty. Their beliefs are popular in Fujian, Chaoshan and Taiwan. The Shuangzhong Temple was first founded in the 28th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1689). People from the mainland who crossed the sea to Taiwan built a temple here for everyone to worship and named it "Weiyang Temple." In the 48th year of Kangxi (1709), the temple was built and the temple was changed to "Shuangzhong Temple", commonly known as "Marshal Temple."
