李	李木公 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 看了很多負評，實際入住是覺得沒什麼好要求了? 老闆娘還特別優惠，入住的308沒什麼霉味只是就稍微簡陋了些畢竟有年份了～ After reading a lot of negative reviews, I actually felt that there was nothing to ask for when I checked in. The proprietress also had a special offer. The 308 who stayed in had no musty smell but was slightly rudimentary. After all, there is a vintage~
G	G8劍 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 房間有熱水跟液晶電視，甚至還有提供免費衛生紙，廁所內的滿天星斗令人讚嘆不已，房間內的多功能吹風機非常實用，經濟實惠。 The room has hot water, LCD TV, and even free toilet paper. The starry sky in the toilet is amazing. The multi-functional hair dryer in the room is very practical and affordable.

G	Garrett B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the states this place would probably be condemned. Like a 0.3 star hotel without the roaches (didn't see any at least)...but for the price it's a bargain place to sleep and wash up in the heart of Alishan village if the catholic hostel is unavailable.
L	Laurence Coulton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is pretty disgusting and I'll get onto why, but if you need somewhere to stay in Alishan on a budget and the Catholic Church is full, then look no further. It's still a little expensive, even more so considering the mould, leaky bathroom roof, all pervasive dampness, etc., but alongside the standard Alishan prices its a bargain. It's worth noting, however, that the place is dirty, damp and cold - after a couple of nights you will be too. All in all, you can survive a couple of nights here in order to see the beautiful Alishan scenery ona shoestring but if you can afford to then it's probably best to stay somewhere else.
M	Mark Bosman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given that this is now the only place that provides dormitory style beds for solo-travellers, they deserve 3 stars. Their rate (700/night) is only one third of what you'd pay at the Catholic hotel (which is no longer a hostel!). This is definitely not a comfortable place to stay, but the cold and humid Alishan weather is as much to blame for that as the run-down building. The owners are actually putting in some effort, with a dehumidifier in the room. Also, the staff is quite helpful, if you approach them patiently.
