A great visit to Waisandingzhou, the tour guide and captain on Kaixuan 1 were great and fun. What was even more touching was that the return trip gave us an ecological education about raising oysters and let us understand the hard work of oyster farmers.

預約報名時告知需提早20分鐘到達，一天有三個班次，當天有6條船同時出發前往外傘頂州，為了避免船位浪費，船公司會把散客放在團體客中。所以，散客需等團體客快到達時才會帶到船上休息，帶長輩同行留意一下。
船上氣氛帶的很歡樂，卡拉OK歡唱自行到前面點歌，但因同一團體一次性點滿點足，其他團體和散團只能聽歌有點可惜。
用餐會清楚引導動線及餐具不混用，八菜一湯和虱目魚粥好吃，船上座位6人同桌散客會與其他散客共桌，坐內側的人不方便出入夾菜，坐外側的人會一直被打擾，有意前往可依自己的需求選擇走道或靠窗的座位。
移動的國土～東石外傘頂州，沿途可看觀賞到海鳥和砢棚，在沙洲一般是打赤腳，但中午沙比較熱，穿拖鞋也可以。上船後船上提供2個大黑桶供洗腳沖水～很方便。

There are 6 boats that depart for the outer umbrella top state at the same time. In order to avoid waste of space, the shipping company will put individual passengers in group passengers. Therefore, individual travelers need to wait for the group guests to arrive soon before taking them to rest on the boat, and take the elders to pay attention.
The atmosphere on the boat was very joyful. Karaoke sang and ordered songs on their own, but because the same group is full of orders at one time, it is a pity that other groups and scattered groups can only listen to songs.
The meal will clearly guide the moving line and the tableware should not be mixed. The eight dishes and one soup and milkfish porridge are delicious. The six people on the boat will share the table with other individual guests. It is not convenient for those sitting on the inside to get in and out of the dishes. People on the outside will always be disturbed, and they can choose the aisle or window seat according to their needs.
The moving land ~ Dongshiwai Sandingzhou, you can see seabirds and stone sheds along the way. In the sandbanks, you usually go barefoot, but the sand is hot at noon and you can wear slippers. After boarding the ship, there are 2 large black buckets for washing feet and flushing water ~ very convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This might be a good experience for those who enjoy karaoke. For those who prefer a relaxed, low key cruise, it is best to spare yourself the headache and annoyance.
The 'boat' itself is a large raft with steel and plastic structure on top. The boat is not really sea worthy by Western standard although the trip I partaked in was uneventful given the sea was calm.
The hostess, a young women, was not skilled in conflict resolution. After a customer raised objection regarding seat assignment, the hostess not only was not able to provide a reasonable explanation, but proceeded to use provocative language to irate the customer and her friends.
The boat is legally allowed to carry 50 passengers and 48 are on board. 30 passengers are part of a tour group. This group dominated the entire trip by signing karaoke the entire time. While some talents are discovered this way, this is not one of those occasions. Most of the rest of the passengers really suffered as this group of singers are terrible singers.
A buffet arrangement was offered as part of the ride which consists of local flavors. The food garners 1 or 2 stars out of 5.
The hostess talked about the sand bar(外傘頂洲), which is the highlight of the ride, for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately, there's no talk about the oyster farming practices that is the life line of the local community. It is definitely an opportunity lost.
In summary, it is not worth the time and cost if you travel to this village just for this experience. If you are here for other reasons, it may not be too bad if you happen to like karaoke and are not expecting good food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the service lady on boat is very mean (we took the boat 3pm on October 12) She lashed out on us problems not caused by her customers at all. This is the definitely worst experience ever. Very bad attitude, bad guide and no idea what service is.
