(請媽祖信仰-其之一) 創建年代:1970 主祀: 五府千歲,中壇元帥 沿革:本宮主神香火自南鯤鯓代天府而來,原是供奉於行館,後因火災而遷到現址,正在建廟,雖然庄中宮廟未完工,但該庄之請媽祖習俗卻早已有上百年之歷史 習俗起源:(by顏瑞義) 相傳清代北港朝天宮修建時 安溪寮林源賽老先生(清乾隆丁酉年生 林家七世祖)往北港採購農具 正值頭人募捐 林源賽老先生也上前觀看群眾題捐 以藤杖輕敲木柴 看是不是真的福衫 卻被頭人因穿著樸素瞧不起而出戲言:你如果可以捐一箱白銀 一支龍柱 就讓你元宵過後請媽祖婆的頭香 林源賽老先生笑一笑答應 隔天吩咐傭人依承諾扛往北港 竟成題捐第一名功德主 北港頭人依照承諾讓林源賽老先生迎請朝天宮媽祖回庄 而隔年林源賽老先生所耕種的田竟然大豐收 於是全庄都踴躍加入往北港請媽祖的行列 再過幾年 後壁溪氾濫 洪水淹沒稻田 民不聊生之際 欣逢安溪寮迎請北港聖母經過 各庄積水之處 經聖母神輿經行 即退至轎前 而該年還異常豐收 各庄感念神恩 遂加入迎送聖母行列 請神日期如下: 1.十九聯合坐牛車前往迎請聖母 並駐蹕竹圍仔 (興南里) 2.二十由後壁寮迎請 (新吉里) 3.二十一由安溪寮和尾寮迎請(安溪里,興中里) 4.二十二由埒內迎請 (埒內里) 5.二十三由廉使迎請 (廉使里) 6.二十四回到竹圍仔集合一起恭送北港聖母回鑾 其中安溪庄有中軍班之特殊陣頭,會有特殊的 「唱班」儀式,其陣頭僅於安溪請北港媽 與六房媽過爐等活動出陣,中軍班類似古代衙役,在唱班時會清出一條道路讓兵將出入,嚴禁任何人穿過 中軍班成立的第一年 當時沒有路燈時 曾經在恭請北港聖母回虎尾的路途中迷航 頭人集結請示聖母指引 即見神輿放光 遙見遠處出現火光 以為房舍失火 隊伍朝著火光前進 成功返回虎尾 而並未見有屋舍失火 眾人莫不稱道北港聖母靈庇四方 而中軍班也只為北港媽與六房媽開道 而竹圍仔因庄廟新翰宮入火安座改至十月二十六日迎請 而廉使則改至玄天上帝聖誕前迎請 但由於前往紅壇參拜聖母的人潮多於上帝公 遂將紅壇設於永興宮內 埒內則改至拱雲宮趙府元帥聖誕迎請 而至民國八零年代分靈北港聖日媽奉祀於後殿之後(原先也有自雕北港聖母)則改三年一次往北港謁祖進香 餘時迎請土庫媽和虎尾池王遶境 後壁寮曾改至新春迎請 尾寮也曾改至清雲伯聖誕迎請 後來皆因庄頭不寧靜 改回原定日 尾寮改回古香日的原因是因信徒於熱鬧之中疏忽拜媽祖與清雲伯的牲禮順序 問事才得知冒犯聖母兵將 而索性改二十一日迎請 而迎請聖母的庄頭皆為虎尾德興宮池三王轄下 故皆迎請開基池三王陪駕 而來往北港之際 皆會經過土庫順天宮 老一輩說來回土庫街民皆熱情迎送招待 所以也一同邀請土庫聖母回庄賜福 在順天宮所存碑記中有記載上述各庄捐題 而早期也屬順天宮五十三庄信仰圈內 故可能土庫聖母與虎尾池王皆是以境主之姿伴駕出巡 而後壁寮跟竹圍仔皆會多迎請順天宮關聖帝君 乃是因為俗稱帝君壇的虎尾順天宮 在入火安座前夕 工程仍趕不完 兩庄庄民全數自發性前往幫忙 始得順利 故因此帝君壇頭人立下規定 舉凡兩庄迎請開基帝君 皆不得阻止 而竹圍仔近期十幾年會迎請新港聖母 係屬人事交陪 就不在贅述 而迎請神尊方面 據尾寮前輩所述 迎請對象皆為北港朝天宮軟身祖媽 土庫則是固定六尊聖母之一 而後壁寮莊姓耆老指出 最早是按照祖媽~六媽輪流 爾後改成七媽也是軟身大尊的 再來就變成迎請廟中老駕 而家母自述往昔迎請北港聖母時相當慎重 尾寮至今也還保有迎請聖母前三日夜巡操營的習俗 年例祭:每年正月二十一日前往土庫順天宮和北港朝天宮請媽祖回庄遶境. (跟尾寮是同一天,所以偶爾會看到兩庄的陣頭互相交會)
